When storing seals, please note the following:
- Do not open the seal package unless necessary, otherwise dust will stick to the seal or scratch the seal.
- Store in a cool place, do not place it in direct sunlight. UV rays and moisture accelerate deterioration and dimensional changes in rubber and plastics.
- When storing unpackaged products, be careful not to stick or contain impurities, and store them in their original condition.
- Do not place seals near heat sources, such as boilers, furnaces, etc. High temperatures will accelerate the aging of seals.
- Do not place the seal close to the motor or where ozone is generated.
- Do not use needles, wires or ropes to hang the seal, otherwise it will deform the seal and damage the lip.
- Sometimes, the surface of the seal changes color or appears white powder (frost phenomenon), which does not affect the performance of the seal.
